About the Hall

Description

Meavy Parish Hall is set within the heart of the delightful village of Meavy.

The Hall will seat up to 100 people for theatrical productions, meetings etc . It is an ideal venue for functions and parties and up to 80 people can be seated at tables. We have a stage, bar area and kitchen and the toilet facilities include a disabled toilet.

Hallmark 2 Award - Meavy Parish HallThe Hall has its own car park for 20 cars and there is limited unrestricted parking in the road. Access to the main entrance door is level and suitable for wheelchair access into the hall.

Meavy Parish Hall has achieved the Hallmark 2 Award.  The award was formally presented to the hall at a Presentation Evening on Friday 2nd September 2016.

A hall, seating (at tables) 80 people, seating in rows 90 people. 

There are 12 tables and 90 chairs.  Maximum licensed capacity for audience and performers is 120.

Directions

Meavy is situated 1.5 miles south east of Yelverton which is on the A386 Plymouth to Tavistock Road.   Location of Meavy 

Travelling from Plymouth: take the turning signposted Meavy which is located just before the roundabout at Yelverton. Follow the road round and then turn left (again it is signed Meavy). Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the village of Meavy. The Hall is located on the right hand side of the village Green, opposite the pub and the church.
